Christ the King School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The amount you pay above the fair market value estimate may be tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. Please consult your accountant for all tax information.
By bidding in the Silent or Live Auction, each bidder agrees to the following rules:
ALL SALES ARE FINAL and there will be no refunds or exchanges.
ALL ITEMS SOLD “AS IS”. The Christ the King School Auction committee has attempted to describe all catalog items correctly. The school neither warrants nor represents and in no event shall be held responsible for the accuracy of descriptions in terms of authenticity, authorship, or condition of the items. No statement made verbally shall be deemed such as warranty, representation, or assumption of liability.
Christ the King School reserves the right to add or withdraw items from the auction without prior notice.
Unless otherwise noted, ALL AUCTION CERTIFICATES MUST BE CLAIMED AND USED WITHIN ONE YEAR OF THE EVENT DATE. Restaurant gift certificates do not include liquor, tax, or gratuities unless otherwise stated.
Each guest bidding assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items) purchased at the auction. Each bidder agrees to save and hold harmless Christ the King Catholic School from and against any claim, debt, or liability arising directly or indirectly from the auction or any items purchased at the auction. For purposes of this agreement, Christ the King School includes the school itself, its elected and appointed officials, its directors, members, and employees, the auctioneers) and its agents and employees, and the Christ the King School Auction Committee including event organizers, sponsors, and/or volunteers connected with the Christ the King School Auction.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to contact the donor for services and/or merchandise purchased. DO NOT ask donors to make substitutions, cash refunds, or changes in any auction item. Trip dates and travel arrangements may not be changes.
We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover as forms of payment. Payments must be made in full upon receipt of the item. Items and gift certificates that are paid for become the bidder’s responsibility.
The values set forth for items auctioned are the donor’s estimates and are not warranted by the auction committee or Christ the King School for tax purposes or Fair Market Value. Items have not been appraised unless so noted.
SPECIAL SECOND CHANCE AUCTION RULES
Items offered in the classroom projects will have bid screens with pre-determined bid amounts. Follow the instruction on the electronic bid sheet to make a bid entry. You may skip ahead on the bid sheet, however, you may not write an intermediate amount. The highest bidder wins the item.
You may bid, online, on any second chance auction item until Tuesday, May 31, 5:00pm. Bidding will be finalized and the winner will be notified via email. To ensure purchase of an item, you must have the highest bid at the close of the Special Second Chance Auction at 5:00PM on May 31, 2011.
If an entry is not legible, the next highest legible entry will be acknowledged.
